The Story Behind Nash Builders

If you asked my family to describe me in one word, they'd probably say particular.

My dad still likes to remind me that I have a tendency to overbuild everything. He's probably right. I've just never been very good at settling for "good enough," especially when someone is trusting me with something important.

"Meticulous by Nature" isn't just a slogan, it describes how I approach everything I do. I believe the little details matter because they're what turn a good project into a great one. Whether it's the craftsmanship, the planning, the communication, or helping homeowners make confident decisions, I've never been very good at settling for "good enough." My goal has always been simple: if my name is attached to a project, it should be something I'm genuinely proud of.

That mindset has followed me throughout my entire career.

I started working in construction in 2001, earned a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, spent time in finish carpentry, managed large commercial construction projects, and eventually found my way back to residential remodeling. Every step taught me something different, but one lesson stayed with me:

The best projects aren't just built well, they're built on trust.

When I started Nash Builders in 2017, I wanted to create the kind of company I would hire myself. A company that answers the phone, shows up when it says it will, communicates openly, treats clients with respect, and never settles for "good enough."

One of my favorite parts of remodeling isn't actually building it's sitting around the kitchen table with homeowners, talking through ideas, looking at samples, solving problems together, and helping create a home that fits the way they live. I probably spend more time guiding clients through that process than I should, but I've found those conversations are often what people remember most.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and kids, building projects in my woodshop, tending to my beehives, and getting outdoors whenever I can. I guess I've always enjoyed creating things with my hands, whether it's a piece of furniture, a beehive, or a home that a family will enjoy for years to come.

Success to me, it isn't measured by the size of the project, it's when a client calls a few years later and says, "Jeremy, we're ready for the next one." Or when they recommend Nash Builders to a close friend or family member, that kind of trust means more to me than anything else because it tells me we didn't just build a beautiful home, we built a relationship.
